Job DescriptionITW Performance Polymers is a Division within ITW’s Polymers & Fluids segment with headquarters in Massachusetts with additional operations in Pennsylvania, Florida, and Shannon, Ireland. Performance Polymers is a world leader in the research, development, and manufacturing of structural and semi‑structural adhesives, grouting and chocking compounds, sprayable syntactic materials and wear‑resistant coatings and repair compounds. Our products are designed to reduce customers’ costs by eliminating steps in their manufacturing processes, reducing the number of parts in an assembly or improving the quality of assembled finished goods.
These high‑quality, differentiated solutions are widely used in markets including wind, transportation, marine, electronics, mining, petrochemical, and other industrial OEM & MRO applications.

- Prepare and perform testing of adhesives and bonded products, sealants, coatings and abrasion resistant materials.
- Order/maintain all lab supplies including reagents, chemicals, testing substrates, and instruments tools/supplies.
- Operate testing instruments to generate mechanical and analytical data as determined by industry standards.
- Schedule, coordinate, and maintain all lab preventative maintenance and calibrations.
- Work closely with other technical and non‑technical functions to define testing needs and present results.
- Follow standardized test methods (ASTM, ISO, SAE, etc.) and report data in a clear, concise format.
- Adjust and create standard and non‑standard test programs in mechanical and analytical laboratory instruments.
- Run experiments and record data performed on manufactured batches.
- Answer incoming calls seeking fundamental technical advice.
