Quality Assurance Technician

Location:

Danvers, MA
Pay Rate: $22.00 – $25.50/hr

Schedule:

Monday – Friday 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

• Inspections: Perform dimensional inspections on raw materials, tooling, and finished parts using calipers, gauges, and mechanical instruments.
• Technical Interpretation: Read and interpret engineering drawings, diagrams, and QA plans to determine reliability standards.
• Compliance: Coordinate and maintain standards for ISO 9000 and specific customer requirements.
• Problem Solving: Review non-conforming products/processes and recommend modifications to improve quality and reduce losses.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed inspection logs, process tags, and rework documentation using manufacturing and spreadsheet software.
• Collaboration: Provide technical guidance to the operations team and communicate daily across all departments.

• Technical proficiency: proven ability to use standard mechanical inspection tools and interpret complex technical documents/blueprints.
• Process knowledge: solid understanding of Lean Manufacturing, process improvement, and warehouse methods.
• Software skills: experience with Manufacturing software (ERP/MRP), Microsoft Word, and Excel.
