Position: Nuclear Medicine/PET Technologist - 20 hours

Compensation

Sign‑on bonus: $20,000.
Hourly pay range: $31.35 – $46.91.

Work Schedule

Shift: Two 10‑hour day shifts.

  • Wednesday: 6:30 am – 5 pm
  • Friday: 7 am – 5:30 pm

Scheduled weekly hours: 20.

Position Summary
  • Provide quality patient care while performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures safely while operating Nuclear Medicine and CT equipment to obtain diagnostic scans.
  • Scan patients properly using correct technical factors and full understanding of nuclear medicine physics to optimize equipment settings for quality procedures.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, including transporting, transferring, immobilizing, and positioning.
  • Explain procedures to patients, considering physical and emotional needs.
  • Record images as directed for radiologist interpretation.
  • Maintain pertinent records.
  • Maintain required documentation regarding radioactive materials upon receipt and prior to administration.
Qualifications
  • Education: Associate's Degree in Diagnostic Imaging required. No experience in lieu of a degree accepted.
  • Licenses and Credentials:
    • Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT/ARRT‑N) required within 90 days.
    • Nuclear Medicine – State License required.
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days.
  • Experience: Nuclear Medicine Tech experience with multiple patient populations preferred (1–2 years).
  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
    • Good communication skills.
    • Ability to evaluate and problem‑solve effectively.
    • Ability to work independently.
    • Ability to guide, teach, and motivate others.
    • Good business acumen skills.
