Sign‑on bonus: $20,000.
Hourly pay range: $31.35 – $46.91.
Shift: Two 10‑hour day shifts.
- Wednesday: 6:30 am – 5 pm
- Friday: 7 am – 5:30 pm
Scheduled weekly hours: 20.
Position Summary- Provide quality patient care while performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures safely while operating Nuclear Medicine and CT equipment to obtain diagnostic scans.
- Scan patients properly using correct technical factors and full understanding of nuclear medicine physics to optimize equipment settings for quality procedures.
- Prepare patients for procedures, including transporting, transferring, immobilizing, and positioning.
- Explain procedures to patients, considering physical and emotional needs.
- Record images as directed for radiologist interpretation.
- Maintain pertinent records.
- Maintain required documentation regarding radioactive materials upon receipt and prior to administration.
- Education: Associate's Degree in Diagnostic Imaging required. No experience in lieu of a degree accepted.
- Licenses and Credentials:
- Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT/ARRT‑N) required within 90 days.
- Nuclear Medicine – State License required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days.
- Experience: Nuclear Medicine Tech experience with multiple patient populations preferred (1–2 years).
- Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to evaluate and problem‑solve effectively.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to guide, teach, and motivate others.
- Good business acumen skills.
