Large professional services organization in northern MA is seeking a Controller to lead accounting & financial operations. This role will oversee the close, financial reporting, job costing, AP / AR, and internal controls. We are targeting candidates with 10+ years of progressive experience in accounting. CPA / MBA highly preferred.
Responsibilities- Manage the monthly, quarterly, and yearly close process
- Prepare financial reporting packages
- Oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Revenue Recognition
- Lead WIP reporting and job costing
- Ensure internal controls are in compliance with SOX-404
- Manage a team
- Other ad hoc projects with the CFO
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business
- 10+ years of progressive accounting experience
- CPA / MBA is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
