Key Responsibilities- Support global process improvements, production floor activities, and production transfer efforts through regular meeting coordination and participation.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams across global operations.
- Use Lean and Six Sigma tools to analyze process trends, communicate data‑driven issues, and identify opportunities for process and yield improvements.
- Support commercial production of new products, product changes, and enhancements in partnership with Operations, Product Development, and Quality Assurance.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, GMP, GDP, FDA QSR, and ISO regulations.
- Assist with developing and maintaining process documentation (assembly/test procedures, routers, travelers, BOMs, process flows, process FMEAs).
- Help execute process validations, including generating validation plans, protocols, and reports.
- Qualify and optimize processes and tooling through IQ/OQ/PQ, Gage R&R, Process Capability Studies, and DOE.
- Participate in failure investigations and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate documentation of concepts, designs, and processes while staying current on relevant medical and technical developments.
- Partner with product development teams to ensure new products are designed for manufacturability, testability, and inspection.
- Junior, senior, or graduate student pursuing a degree in Biomedical engineering, Mechanical engineering, Industrial engineering or related fields.
- Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and continuous improvement methodologies (Green Belt preferred).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Prior work experience preferred; medical device experience is a plus.
- Working knowledge of SAP preferred.

Benefitsand Pay
The anticipated base pay range for this position is $23.00/hr to $51.50/hr the expected pay range for this position is between $23.00 per hour and $51.50 per hour but will be based on candidate's program year, discipline, degree and/or experience. Co‑Ops/Interns are eligible to participate in Company‑sponsored employee medical benefits in accordance with the terms of the plan. Co‑Ops and Interns are eligible for the following sick time benefits: up to 40 hours per calendar year;
for employees who reside in the State of Washington, up to 56 hours per calendar year. Co‑Ops and Interns are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension).
