Position: Part-Time Student Ambassadors
Work Schedule: up to 20 hours a week Fall, Spring & Summer
Salary: $16.80/hr., non-benefited
Visa Sponsorship: At this time, the College is not providing sponsor ships for Visas.
Essential Functions- Serve as a resource for current and prospective students.
- Assist with on-campus visits and give campus tours at the Danvers and/or Lynn Campus.
- Serve as a front desk assistant at campus/virtual enrollment centers as scheduled/needed.
- Call and text new and prospective students to invite them for campus visits and answer questions about attending NSCC.
- Facilitate and assist with Admissions related events such as open houses, application, completion and registration events.
- Attend student ambassador training sessions and meetings.
- Work with various campus departments as needed.
- Serve a year-long commitment
- Fall, Spring & Summer Semesters.
- Be enthusiastic, driven, creative, and friendly.
- Possess excellent written, interpersonal, and group communication skills.
- Positively represent the college.
- Be sensitive to the needs of current and prospective students.
- Work well with in a team environment
- Enroll in a minimum of 6 credit hours in both the Fall and Spring semester.
- Have an unweighted 2.0 grade point average from their most recent institution (high school, transferring from another college, etc.). Maintain a 2.0 cumulative GPA at NSCC.
- Must be in good disciplinary standing with the College.
- Candidates will be required to pass a CORI/SORI and/or a National background check as a condition of employment.
