CDL B - Truck Driver

Richards Building Supply Co. is currently searching for a CDL Class B driver for our Danbury, CT location. The candidate may hold either a CDL Class A or CDL Class B license with an Air Brake Endorsement. Responsibilities include safely delivering products to job sites, unloading material per the customer's request, receiving materials in the warehouse, loading trucks, and managing inventory.

Knuckleboom and Crane experience preferred. Flatbed with Moffett and/or Box Truck experience desired.

• CDL Class B with Air Brake Endorsement or CDL Class A driver’s license
• 1 year CDL Class B driving experience or 2 years CDL Class A driving experience
• Knuckleboom and Crane experience preferred
• Flatbed, Moffett, and Box Truck experience desired
• Forklift experience highly desired
• Current DOT medical card
• Clean driving record
• Must be at least 23 years of age
• Must pass background check and pre‑employment DOT drug screen

• Must be able to continually lift 50‑100 lbs. of material throughout the day; occasional lifting over 100 lbs.
• Team player who works well with others
• Self‑motivated and hardworking
• Loads trucks with material scheduled for day’s deliveries in compliance with DOT weight regulations
• Unloads trucks and receives merchandise at the warehouse
• Moves materials and items from receiving to designated areas
