Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Security Systems Sales Representative to join our growing team. This role involves developing new business opportunities and managing existing client accounts within the security systems industry. The ideal candidate will excel in outside sales, business development, and territory management, leveraging their technical sales expertise to deliver tailored security solutions. A strong background in B2B sales, CRM software, and customer service is essential to succeed in this position.

Duties
  • Generate new leads through cold calling, networking, and marketing strategies to expand the customer base.
  • Manage a designated territory by identifying potential clients and developing strategic plans for account growth.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations to prospective clients, showcasing the features and benefits of security systems.
  • Develop customized security solutions based on client needs, utilizing product knowledge and technical expertise.
  • Negotiate contracts and close sales deals while maintaining strong customer relationships.
  • Upsell additional products or services to existing clients to maximize revenue opportunities.
  • Maintain detailed records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status using CRM software such as Salesforce.
  • Collaborate with management on strategic planning, market analysis, and territory expansion initiatives.
  • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process and post-sale support to ensure client satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in outside sales, B2B sales, or technology sales with a focus on security systems preferred.
  • Strong skills in management, business development, account management, and territory management.
  • Proficiency with CRM software such as Salesforce or similar platforms for lead generation and pipeline management.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to conduct product demos effectively.
  • Demonstrated success in cold calling, direct sales, inside sales, retail sales, or territory sales environments.
  • Ability to analyze market data and develop strategic plans for growth.
  • Customer-focused mindset with exceptional service skills and a professional demeanor.
  • Knowledge of marketing strategies related to security solutions is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with team members across departments.
Compensation & Incentives
  • $65,000-$80,000 Base Pay
  • Commission range of 5–10% Based on Experience
  • Uncapped earning potential
  • OTE (On-Target Earnings): $90K–$130K
  • Commission paid on closed sales
