Interim Nurse Manager Needed in Danbury, CT!
The Position- An Interim Nurse Manager is needed to provide leadership for NICU and Pediatric units in a hospital setting.
- Reporting to the Director of Nursing, this leader will oversee a team of approximately 65 FTEs.
- Key responsibilities include overseeing day‑to‑day unit operations, promoting initiatives to improve the patient experience, fostering collaboration with physicians, supporting staff, and assisting in clinical care as needed.
- The ideal candidate will have NICU and Pediatric leadership experience, a demonstrated ability to lead diverse clinical teams, and a hands‑on approach to unit operations. Must be highly organized, patient‑focused, and able to adapt quickly to changing needs. Excellent communication skills will be critical.
- Must be available to start within 2-3 weeks of acceptance.
- BSN or advanced degree in Nursing required;
Master's degree preferred. - Current CT RN license.
- Minimum three years of bedside experience, with at least two years in a relevant leadership role.

- Compensation Range: $150,000 to $160,000 annually.
- The final compensation rate will be determined based on experience, education, training, location, internal equity, and budget considerations, in accordance with Fair Market Value evaluation. Additionally, some candidates may be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, depending on the specific role, including but not limited to health insurance coverage and retirement benefits.
