Full-time CRNA Opening – Danbury Hospital, Danbury, Connecticut (60 miles from New York City)
Danbury Hospital, affiliated with Nuvance Health, is seeking a full-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join our employed medical group in Fairfield County, Connecticut. Our CRNAs and Anesthesiologists are employed by Nuvance Health Medical Practice. We will also consider new graduates into our dynamic learning environment. Position includes optional cross coverage to New Milford and Norwalk Hospitals, and per diem opportunities are available.
Our highly experienced team of approximately 40 physicians and 40 CRNAs provides 24/7 coverage. Cases include spine, orthopedics, cardiac, and obstetrics. This is an excellent opportunity to join a large, established program that includes teaching residents, medical students, and CRNA students. We offer a highly competitive compensation package, including allowances for CME and dues expenses.
Additional sign‑on, retention, and relocation bonuses may be awarded, up to $80,000.
Job Requirements- Minimum formal education of a Master’s (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree in Nurse Anesthesia;
State of CT RN and APRN license. - Experienced CRNA or new graduate SRNA are welcome to apply.
Danbury Hospital has 371 beds and is a Level II Trauma Center with approximately 70,000 ED visits per year. As a teaching hospital, we are affiliated with the University of Vermont College of Medicine, Ross University, American University of the Caribbean, and Yale School of Medicine. Our Medical Group includes 900+ employed physicians, serving a geographically broad region throughout Western Connecticut and Eastern New York.
Danbury, Connecticut, located in the foothills of the Berkshire Mountains and on the border of New York State, is about 60 miles northeast of New York City and 60 miles west of Hartford, CT. The city offers excellent housing and school systems and is close to outdoor activities.

Salary Range: $134.23 – $149.43/hr, commensurate with experience. $180/hour for per diem.
