Overview

We are seeking a Reactor Room Material Handler to join our client's team in Danbury, CT. In this role, you will perform a range of warehousing and material handling tasks in support of our production operations. This is a hands-on position requiring attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to manage chemical materials responsibly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare requisition documents for Reactor Room materials
  • Transport, weigh, pour, blend, mix, pump, and pack chemical materials per safety and regulatory standards
  • Maintain proper stock levels of Reactor Room supplies
  • Move waste drums to the designated Waste Room and handle empty or dirty drums accordingly
  • Keep work areas organized and clean, including trash and waste material management
  • Maintain accurate production, inventory, training, and safety records (manual or digital)
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and dollies for materials handling
  • Secure the warehouse by locking doors and setting alarms, as needed
  • Ensure proper use and care of all equipment and technology
  • Follow all company environmental and safety procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervision
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Up to 1 year of related experience
  • Attention to detail and strong safety awareness
  • Ability to read, write, and complete paperwork accurately
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of weights and measures
  • Understanding of equipment operation and light maintenance
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a team environment
  • Knowledge of GMPs and food safety regulations is an asset
