Description:

Role:

· Operates flexographic printing equipment to manufacture graphics on paper and film substrates for medical device packaging, minimizing waste and maintaining throughput rates.

· Sets up printing press components and processes printed web material through rewind and slitting equipment, ensuring efficiency.

Essential Functions:

· Checks quality and correctness of printing mats, sets up and aligns printing components.

· Inspects raw materials for correctness.

· Loads web material onto the press and checks for accuracy.

· Operates the press to produce high-quality products.

· Performs cleanup and preventive maintenance on equipment.

· Repairs printing and slitting equipment as needed.

· Manages inventory of inks, mats, and paper stocks.

· Schedules web material processing to optimize operation.

· Transfers materials between departments.

· Maintains inventory of spare parts for quick changeovers.

· Sets up and processes web materials on slitting equipment.

· Keeps work area clean to meet GMP standards.

· Reports safety hazards immediately.

· Records production and waste data using current accounting methods.

· Ensures product quality and completes inspection sheets.

Responsibilities:

· Uses proper lifting equipment and conducts daily safety checks.

· Complies with safety regulations and policies.

· Adheres to quality policies and practices.

· Performs additional duties as assigned.

· Observes safety, environmental, and quality standards.

Minimum requirements include:

· High School Diploma or GED

· Printing press experience required
