The Specialist, Procurement core responsibility is to serve as a resource to the sales team and the company with dedicated focus on the procurement, purchasing and receiving of hardware and software for the Logically’s customers as well as the processing and handling of client owned inventory. This individual interacts with suppliers to obtain favorable pricing terms, product specifications, monitor availability, and optimize savings.

This role expedites delayed orders and resolves issues with changes, returns, replacements, and credit arrangements. The Procurement Specialist coordinates with internal teams to ensure that procurement needs are met promptly and efficiently. This role is onsite at our Danbury, CT office.

• Ensure the accurate and timely ordering of hardware and software in support of Logically’s managed services goals
• Order technical equipment and software licensing for internal departments purchasing equipment necessary to provide superior managed services
• Order office supplies and approved snacks for office personnel
• Coordinate with internal teams to anticipate purchasing needs, including general inventory considerations.
• Collaborate with internal departments (Finance, Operations, and Inventory Manager) to align procurement activities with business objectives.
• Review orders for quantity, specifications, delivery requirements, and compliance with established policies and procedures
• Execute purchase order (PO) for the product following vendor contracts and company policies
• Process renewals for existing software licenses and maintenance agreements on equipment
• Collaborate with the Quoting department by ensuring sales‑related information is added into our Connectwise system.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements in the procurement function.
• Ensure fulfillment of PO through physical reconciliation in Connect Wise of shipped items to vendor packing list/invoice
• Inspect all deliveries for damage and accuracy
