Sr. Executive Partner – Global CIO Advisory
A Gartner Executive Partner (EP) is an indispensable advisor for every Information Technology and digital leader. Executive Technology Services (ETS) is a membership‑based organization serving over 7,000 CIOs / CxOs and senior IT leaders across 87 countries. Our program has seen double digital growth YoY, with 54% of members signing multi‑year contracts. Members include Fortune 100 organizations that benefit from a single source of knowledge focused on CIO‑level challenges.
What you’ll do:- Manage a portfolio of 25+ members consisting of digital/technology leaders from some of the World’s largest commercial and high‑tech organizations with revenues in excess of 15B+.
- Understand members’ priorities and challenges; help them find solutions and execute on strategy by leveraging Gartner’s capabilities and trends across our client base.
- Challenge members with new ideas and innovative approaches, providing an outside “fresh eyes” perspective.
- Define and deliver innovative solutions by assessing members’ top priorities and developing a customized service plan.
- Conduct briefings, strategy sessions, workshops (virtual and onsite), research analyst visits, round tables, and webinars.
- Build a strong partnership with Gartner’s Sales organization and collaborate to ensure strong member engagement and renewal of ExP business.
- Present or facilitate at local ExP events.
- Former or current Global CIO, CIO, or senior technology executive.
- 20+ years of progressive technology experience, including AI, BI, ML, Digital Transformation, Big Data, Cloud, etc.
- Exposure to large end‑to‑end transformative initiatives, leading or co‑leading critical programs.
- Deep knowledge of digital/technology leadership focus areas and IT industry trends.
- Experience with revenue enablement, market improvement, risk reduction, and P&L responsibility.
- Project‑to‑product experience creating new revenue streams.
- Experience with Agile, Dev Ops, and emerging technologies.
- Advanced critical thinking, structured problem‑solving, and ability to lead ambiguous situations.
- Excellent relationship building, collaboration, and executive‑presence communication skills.
- Demonstrable sales and business‑development experience with CXO level executives.
- Strong prioritization, “challenge the status‑quo,” and collaborative mindset.

Salary Range:Base salary range: 188,000 USD – 225,000 USD (actual pay may vary). In addition to base salary, employees participate in an annual bonus plan or a role‑based, uncapped sales incentive plan. Benefits include generous PTO, a 401(k) match up to $7,200 per year, and the opportunity to purchase company stock at a discount.
