Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for home health with a CT PT license and 2+ years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Home health setting providing physical therapy services to patients in their residences

• Typical caseload of approximately 6 patient visits per day

• Work schedule is 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM with weekend rotation

• Experience with Home Care Home Base (HCHB) EMR is preferred

• Main responsibility is to provide physical therapy assessments and develop plans of care for patients in their homes

• Must have the ability to work autonomously and manage a flexible caseload

• Local candidates within 60 miles are accepted at a reduced rate

• Professional attire required while in patient homes

• First-time travelers will be considered

Requirements

• Current CT PT license required (license required if applicable)

• Minimum 2 years of physical therapy experience required

• AHA BLS certification required

• Home health experience preferred

• Experience with Home Care Home Base (HCHB) is a plus

• Two professional references from prior year in current discipline from a manager or higher
