Overview
As a Patient Services Representative at the Center for Advanced Reproductive Services (CARS), you are the welcoming face and reassuring voice for individuals and couples on their journey to parenthood. Your role is vital in ensuring that every patient feels seen, supported, and cared for from the moment they walk through our doors.
Your Impact On The Patient Experience- A Warm Welcome:
You will be the first point of contact, greeting patients with empathy and professionalism to set a positive tone for their visit. - Seamless Care Coordination:
You’ll manage the flow of the day—from checking patients in and updating records in IMS and Engaged
MD, to scheduling follow-up appointments and processing payments—ensuring their focus remains on their health, not the paperwork. - The Clinical Connection:
You act as a vital liaison between patients and our clinical team. Whether you are triaging phone calls, managing physician schedules, or preparing daily clinical paperwork, your attention to detail ensures our providers have exactly what they need to deliver world-class care. - Support Behind the Scenes:
You’ll keep the practice running smoothly by managing patient accounts, monitoring the reception area, and assisting with special administrative projects that improve our patient services.
- Compassion & Communication:
You have a heart for women’s health and fertility. You communicate clearly and kindly, maintaining patient confidentiality (HIPAA) at all times. - Office Expertise:
You have 1-2 years of experience in a physician’s office, ideally in OB/GYN or infertility. You are comfortable with EMR systems, medical terminology, and working with insurance plans. - Organizational Mastery:
You thrive in a busy environment, multitasking with ease and staying detail-oriented even when things get fast-paced. - Flexibility:
You are a team player ready to support one of our satellite offices as needed.
You will work a schedule starting at 7:15 AM and ending at 4:15 PM in our Danbury office, Monday-Friday. Our Farmington main office serves patients seven days a week to support active treatment cycles. To meet our patients' needs, you may be asked to work in another office per the Center's request, including a weekend and holiday rotation in our Farmington location.
