Job Title:
Medical Assistant
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our team. This role involves scheduling appointments for doctors and patients on various platforms, assisting in scheduling calls, and providing exceptional customer care. You will facilitate patient arrangements to ensure a smooth and seamless process, alongside performing typical medical assistant duties such as phlebotomy, rooming patients, answering phones, and handling office tasks.
Responsibilities- Schedule appointments for doctors and patients across multiple platforms, demonstrating multi-level scheduling proficiency.
- Assist in scheduling calls for patients and providers.
- Provide personalized customer care to ensure a high-quality patient experience.
- Facilitate patient arrangements to ensure a smooth process.
- Perform typical medical assistant duties including phlebotomy, rooming patients, answering phones, and handling general office tasks.
- Proficiency in medical assisting with a diploma, certification, or registration required.
- Experience with phlebotomy and autoclave operations.
- Good phone communication skills.
- At least 6 months of experience working in a medical office environment.
- Experience working with multiple healthcare providers.
- Familiarity with Athena EMR systems.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bilingual in Spanish is a significant advantage.
- Prior experience in a women s health office or organization.
The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm, with a one-hour lunch break. The role involves working in a healthcare setting where professionalism and patient care are prioritized.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Danbury, CT.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
