Overview

Medical Assistant - Women s Health Dept. role at Connecticut Institute For Communities, Inc. (CIFC) – CIFC Health. This is a full-time position supporting clinicians and patient care in a Women s Health setting.

• Work directly with Clinicians to facilitate quality patient communication and care, and maintain efficient patient flow.
• Set up exam rooms and assist in handling equipment in preparation for procedures.
• Record patient information and assist with equipment maintenance.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Medical Assistant Certificate (preferred, but not required).
• Two years of appropriate medical office experience (or equivalent); AA preferred.
• Bilingual candidates strongly encouraged to apply.
• Experience:
  
  EMR systems (1 year, Preferred);
  Vital signs (1 year, Required).

• BLS Certification (Preferred)
• Certified Medical Assistant (Preferred)
