MRI Technologist

Attention MRI Technologists looking for FT (M-F 2:30pm - 11pm, 8 hour shifts : Rotating Weekends and Rotating Call schedule : Weekend 7am - 3:30pm). Pay based on full years of experience in MRI and ranges from $46.90 - 58.63 per hour plus shift differentials. (0 years +)

Performs high quality diagnostic and accurate MRI procedures to help physicians in the care of their patients.

• Provides optimum patient care.
• Demonstrates knowledge and technical expertise to safely & correctly operate MRI equipment.
• Perform and record daily QA.
• Develop skills to practice in a safe, clinical environment.
• Develop skills in Contrast Administration.
• Demonstrates self direction and utilizes problem solving techniques.
• Cross trained in another modality.
• Maintains technical competency in the following less frequent order procedure (2 or more years experience).
• Fulfills all compliance responsibilities related to the position.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

HS GRAD/EQUIVALENT

Minimum Experience:

one year

Desired: 3 years experience in MRI; background in ultrasound or CT scan.

Manual: significant manual skills/motor coord & finger dexterity

Occupational:
Significant occupational risk

Physical Effort:
Very Heavy effort. May exert up to 50 lbs. force

Physical Environment:
Some exposure to dirt, odors, noise, human waste, etc.
