MRI Technologist

Overview

Attention MRI Technologists looking for FT (M-F 2:30pm - 11pm, 8 hour shifts; Rotating Weekends and Rotating Call schedule: Weekend 7am - 3:30pm). Pay based on full years of experience in MRI and ranges from $44.83 - 56.04 plus shift differentials.

Performs high quality diagnostic and accurate MRI procedures to help physicians in the care of their patients.

• Provides optimum patient care.
• Demonstrates knowledge and technical expertise to safely & correctly operate MRI equipment.
• Performs and records # for daily QA.
• Develops skills to practice in a safe, clinical environment.
• Develops skills in Contrast Administration.
• Demonstrates self direction and utilizes problem solving techniques.
• Cross trained in another modality.
• Maintains technical competency in the following less frequent order procedure (2 or more years experience).
• Fulfills all compliance responsibilities related to the position.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Education:
  
  HS GRAD/EQUIVALENT
• Minimum Experience:
  
  one year
• Desired: 3 years experience in MRI; background in ultrasound or CT scan.
• Credentials: ARRT, RAD

• Manual: significant manual skills/motor coordination & finger dexterity
• Occupational:
  Significant occupational risk
• Physical Effort:
  Very Heavy effort. May exert up to 50 lbs. force
• Physical Environment:
  Some exposure to dirt, odors, noise, human waste, etc.
