Position:Cash Management Sales Officer
Full-Time
DescriptionCash Management Sales is responsible for the expansion and retention of new and existing commercial deposit relationships. They are responsible for identifying, proposing, and delivering cash management services and products. The individual serves as a liaison between business clients, Bank Operations, and Digital Banking. The individual will work closely with Cash Management team, Digital Banking, Community Development Managers, Loan Officers, and sales leaders.
- Consult Commercial Banking and Operations to gain an understanding of objectives and evaluate core system capabilities.
- Originates new relationships and grows commercial relationships to achieve Bank's deposit and non-interest income goals.
- Cross sells the entire bank product suite including business deposits, credit card, merchant services, payroll services, consumer deposits, and business lending services.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and sales outcomes.
- Transition existing clients to Cash Management when needed.
- Works closely with commercial banking and retail team to develop referrals and close new business.
- Completes and assists with required annual customer audits and reviews.
- Review/update procedures; distribute to other departments and branches via SharePoint, if applicable.
- Establishes appropriate goals to meet or exceed strategic initiatives and professional goals.
- Expand network and sales opportunities by developing relationships with individuals and businesses throughout the community.
- Maintains good organization and follows each process issue through to completion.
- Records and keeps track of all required information to support accurate reporting to Core Team.
- Effectively prioritizes tasks/projects and consistently demonstrates time management to meet deadlines.
- Use out-of-the-box solution skills to improve both user and customer experience; document the process when improving process or procedure.
- Proactively makes suggestions for solutions and leads team with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Five to seven years experience in banking.
- Understanding of financial institution operating policies and procedures, state and federal banking regulations and employee development.
- Excellent analytical, computer, planning, organizational and communications skills.
