Tax Manager

Overview

Our client, a leading global organization within the industrial and engineering sector, is seeking a Federal Tax Manager to join its U.S. tax team. This role offers full ownership of U.S. federal tax compliance and ASC 740 reporting, exposure to complex consolidated tax matters, and the opportunity to lead and mentor within a stable, multinational platform.

• Own U.S. federal income tax compliance and reporting, including Forms 1120 and 1065
• Serve as the primary reviewer of federal income tax returns and supporting work papers
• Prepare and review U.S. federal income tax provisions under ASC 740 (monthly, quarterly, and annual)
• Oversee quarterly federal income tax estimates and payments
• Manage federal tax audits, notices, and correspondence with tax authorities
• Lead projects and mentor junior team members
• Apply strong technical expertise in ASC 740 and consolidated return environments

• 6–8+ years of corporate federal tax experience
• Strong background in ASC 740 and consolidated returns
• Prior experience managing projects and/or mentoring team members
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred
• Strong leadership, analytical, and organizational skills

• End-to-end ownership of federal tax within a global organization
