- Prepare journal entries, financial statements, account reconciliations, and supporting analysis.
- Own key balance sheet areas end to end, including monthly reconciliations, roll forwards, and variance explanations.
- Serve as primary owner of the monthly close process for assigned entities and accounts, ensuring timeliness and accuracy.
- Support month‑end close across general ledger, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
- Review financial results and prepare clear variance explanations versus prior periods and budget.
- Review work prepared by staff accountants and provide coaching, feedback, and technical guidance.
- Manage accounting activities across multiple legal entities, including intercompany transactions and eliminations.
- Support accounting integration for newly acquired practices, including opening balance sheets and close alignment.
- Serve as a Net Suite power user, including journal entry workflows, saved searches, reporting, and account mappings.
- Partner with Finance and FP&A on system improvements, automation initiatives, and reporting enhancements.
- Proactively identify accounting issues, data inconsistencies, and process gaps, and recommend solutions.
- Escalate risks and unusual trends with clear explanations and proposed paths forward.
- Assist with preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual covenant reporting.
- Review monthly bank reconciliations.
- Assist HR team with provider payrolls.
- Prepare schedules and documentation for external auditors.
- Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives as assigned.

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
- CPA or CPA eligible strongly preferred.
- 4 to 6 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Experience in healthcare, multi‑site, or PE‑backed environments a plus.
- Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and month‑end close processes.
- Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, lookups, and data validation.
- Net Suite experience required, including journals, reporting, and account structure.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline‑driven environment.
- Ability to read, analyze, and explain financial statements and trends.
