Located in Dana Point, this town is known for its laid-back vibe and active lifestyle.

The resort sits on 175 acres atop a 150-foot seaside bluff with more than 400 rooms, 115,000 square feet of meeting space, and 8 food and beverage outlets including 4 restaurants, a beach club, lounge, marketplace, and in-room dining. In this role, you will be overseeing the day-to-day operations of Aveo Table + Bar. You will report directly to the Director of Food & Beverage, overseeing 3 Assistant Managers and 30-35 Front of House Team Members.

• Plan and direct all aspects of restaurant operations to include guest service standards and initiatives, product quality, cost controls and overall profitability, marketing initiatives, systems use and management, budgeting and forecasting, department management, policy and procedure implementation and enforcement, and meeting participation and facilitation
• Monitor and develop team member performance, including supervision and professional development, counseling and evaluations, and recognition and rewards
• Create and maintain a customer database and partner with Sales and Marketing/Public Relations on marketing strategy
• Maximize efficiency through technology systems (e.g., Open Table)
• Monitor and assess service and satisfaction trends, evaluate issues, and implement improvements accordingly
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards
• Initiate and implement up-selling techniques to promote restaurant food and beverage and services to maximize revenue, including creating new menus and cross-selling hotel-wide products and services
• Recruit, interview and train team members
