Civil Engineer

Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our growing team. This permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects in the engineering industry. The successful candidate will oversee all stages of project development, from design to completion. This role requires a strong understanding of civil engineering principles, excellent project management skills, and proficiency in AutoCAD and AutoCAD Civil 3D.

A licensed professional engineer (PE) with a passion for land development and engineering design is preferred.

• Manage and oversee various engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
• Utilize AutoCAD and AutoCAD Civil 3D to create detailed, accurate designs and plans for land development projects.
• Prepare and present detailed reports and project updates to stakeholders and team members.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other professionals on project planning and design.
• Ensure all projects adhere to safety regulations and quality standards.
• Conduct on‑site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with design plans and safety regulations.
• Provide expert advice and solutions to complex engineering problems.
• Conduct risk assessments and propose mitigation strategies.
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and tools, applying this knowledge to improve processes and systems.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Must be a licensed professional engineer (PE) or have passed the Engineer in Training (EIT) exam.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in civil engineering, with a focus on land development.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Exceptional project management skills, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and practices.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex information to a variety of audiences.
• Strong problem‑solving skills, with the ability to find innovative solutions to engineering challenges.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of professionals.
• Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and quality standards.
• Detail‑oriented, with strong organizational and planning skills.
• Willingness to continually learn and stay updated with industry developments.
