Trades ​/ Skilled Labor Technician, Maintenance Technician ​/ Mechanic

A Technician Level 1 is expected to perform all maintenance and repairs to the required manufacturers standards.

• Independently carry out repairs, calibrations and troubleshooting on equipment.
• Where required assist and support other team members to complete their assigned tasks.
• Diagnose, analyse and rectify all types of faults, using manufacturers information.
• Maintain required levels of Utilization, Productivity and Efficiency, in line with manufacturers standard times.
• Ensure company/manufacturers policies and procedures followed.
• Maintain the highest level of professional standards when discussing work with customers, suppliers and colleagues.
• Provide technical advice to customers and colleagues.
• Comply with Health and Safety regulations and safe working practices.
• Maintain a thorough and up to date knowledge of products and attend training courses.

• High school education.
• Heavy vehicle technician or equivalent manufacturers qualification.

Required Years Of Experience

Over 8 years' work experience repairing and maintaining heavy vehicles or equipment.
