Sales Representative, Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Business Development
To call on both existing and prospective buyers within a prescribed geographical area to maximise sales of both new and used
equipment within trading guidelines established by Sales Management. To forecast business potential within his/her territory for
short term (6 months) and to report on market conditions and competitive activity within his/her territory.
Key AccountabilitiesMake planned sales calls on all existing and prospective buyers to ensure cost-effective coverage of his/her sales territory and to report the outcome via the Call Report system.
· Maximize the sales of the Company's products within his/her sales territory to achieve annual sales turnover targets within agreed discount levels as set by Sales Manager.
· Organize through Sales Administration preparation of necessary quotations and tenders and ensure their prompt delivery and follow-up and report outcome of each quote issued.
· Provide (6) months rolling forecast updated monthly by unit, model and customer.
· Report on a regular basis through the Call Report system on all aspects of competitive activity within his/her sales territory, e.g. pricing, sales, merchandising strategies etc.
· Report on a regular basis on the prevailing and forecasted economic conditions within his/her territory that impact on his/her sales opportunity, e.g. new projects, completion of existing projects etc.
· Through careful study of training materials provided by the Company (and attendance at training courses) to ensure he is familiar with the Company's products and services vis-a-vis the competition and to utilize professional selling skills to communicate to his/her prospective buyers.
· Participate in other sales and promotional activities as may be deemed necessary to generate business within his/her territory, e.g. demonstration, caravans, open days, surveys etc.
- Educational Qualifications and
Certifications:
Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering from a recognized University. - Knowledge:Selling heavy equipment / New / Used / Rental.

Background for equipment/electrical specs. - Language

Arabic / English fluent. - Experience

At least 7 years in effective selling with a proven record of over-achievement of targets.
