Sales Executive - Crane Rental & Heavy Transport
Our client is a Tier 1 integrated logistics services leader, offering end-to-end solutions including trucking, ISO tank hire, warehousing, and specialised tank cleaning services. Operating with a strong footprint, they serve a broad spectrum of industrial clients through customised and efficient logistics solutions.
They are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive to drive business growth through customer acquisition, relationship management, and market intelligence. This is a pivotal role that directly supports our expansion strategy, offering high exposure to business leadership and the opportunity to influence pricing and commercial negotiations at a senior level.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and approach potential clients within the western region across logistics verticals
- Develop and sustain strong business relationships through regular visits and follow‑ups
- Represent professionally in all customer interactions, ensuring high conversion rates
- Collect and forward RFQs to the Business Development head office for pricing decisions
- Collaborate with senior leadership to support sales closures and contractual negotiations
- Provide post‑sales support including payment follow‑ups and client coordination
- Gather market feedback, competitor activity, and customer intelligence to inform strategy
- Prepare and share periodic reports and insights with internal stakeholders
- Assist in creating advisory content, presentations, and marketing tools
- Minimum 5 years of experience in B2B logistics sales
- Bachelors degree preferred; relevant certifications in logistics an advantage
- Proven track record in customer acquisition and solution‑based selling
- Strong understanding of trucking, ISO tanks, warehousing, and related logistics domains
- Hands‑on experience with client‑facing roles and sales coordination
