Maintenance Technician 2nd Industrial

Job Description Job Summary

Reporting to the maintenance manager, performs equipment maintenance work in operations, production, and facility. Designs and scales up maintenance processes, instruments, and equipment to maintain operational equipment. Analyzes and develops solutions to support the plant.

Adhere to all internal and external HSE policies and procedures provided by the local authorities and NOV.

• Report all unsafe and or hazardous acts or conditions to the HSE department.
• Requires working knowledge and skills to perform a defined set of analytical and operational processes.
• Applies experience and skills to complete assigned work.
• Works with a moderate degree of supervision.
• Understands how the team integrates with others to accomplish the team objectives.
• Report to the maintenance manager to communicate with the OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) for troubleshooting and all maintenance activities.
• Good understanding of the technical features of CNC machines controls, electrical and mechanical systems.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance.
• Perform unscheduled maintenance and emergency repairs even after hours, if necessary and supporting equipment in a timely manner.
• Perform installation and upgrades to equipment in addition to other special projects as needed to increase machine efficiency and company productivity.
• Maintain inventory of maintenance materials and supplies to assure down time is minimized due to lack of parts.
• Performs a wide variety of skilled mechanic duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and modify mechanical equipment.
• Uses a wide variety of hand, power, and machine tools to perform assignments.
• Complete and document maintenance activities associated with predictive and corrective maintenance activities in a computerized maintenance database.
• Conduct regular inspections of the facilities to detect and resolve problems.
• Any task assigned by the line manager.

Equipment Maintenance & CNC machine services Troubleshooting.

• Has no supervisory responsibilities; manages own workload
• Recognizes and solves typical problems that can occur in own work area by evaluating and selecting solutions from established operating procedures and/or analytical/technical methods
• Impacts the quality of own work and team
• Communicates moderately complex technical information within the team.

• Diploma in Electromechanics Technology
• Min 8 years of experience in Equipment Maintenance & CNC machine services.
