We are seeking a highly skilled Vehicle Upholsterer with extensive experience in automotive upholstery and interior trim work. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently, deliver high quality craftsmanship, and confidently operate industrial sewing machines and upholstery tools. This role involves repairing, restoring, and fabricating interior components for a range of vehicles to ensure a premium finish and long term durability.
Key Responsibilities- Perform upholstery repairs, replacements, and full restorations on vehicle seats, door panels, headliners, dashboards, and other interior components.
- Fabricate and stitch custom upholstery using leather, vinyl, fabric, and other materials.
- Operate and maintain industrial sewing machines and other specialist upholstery equipment.
- Remove and refit interior trim components accurately and safely.
- Diagnose upholstery and trim issues and provide professional solutions.
- Create templates, cut patterns, and measure materials with precision.
- Work independently to complete assigned tasks within deadlines.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workstation.
- Ensure all work meets quality, safety, and manufacturer standards.
- Assist with stock control of materials, fabrics, and tools.
Proven experience as a Vehicle Upholsterer or automotive interior specialist.
Strong knowledge of upholstery techniques, trim fitting, and automotive interior construction. Ability to operate industrial sewing machines confidently and safely.
Skilled in cutting, stitching, recovering, padding, and crafting interior components.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high quality workmanship.
Ability to read and follow templates, patterns, and technical specifications.
Good understanding of vehicle disassembly and reassembly processes related to interior trim.
Problem-solving ability and a proactive approach to repairs and restoration tasks.

Minimum 5+ years of experience working with luxury, commercial, or fleet vehicles.
