Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Position:
Mechanical & Electrical Technician responsible for repair, maintenance, calibration, and safety compliance.

• Seek Lead Technician or Team Leader assistance in troubleshooting breakdowns when needed.
• Request Spare Parts using the Spare Parts Requisition Form and relay the request to Maintenance Team Leader for pre‑approval to insure adequate spare part consumption.
• Upon repair completion, clean the working area according to Post Maintenance Cleaning WI to hand the area back clean and free from any work residues.
• Write the Finishing Time, task description, any pending tasks or newly discovered findings on the Repair Request Form (RRF) to document records.
• Seek Production Team Leader feedback and approval on the RRF prior to submitting it to Maintenance Team Leader to ensure Production satisfaction.
• Receive Scheduled and Preventive Maintenance tasks from Maintenance Team Leader, carry‑out activities according to the set checklists and highlight any new finding for further scheduling.
• Carry‑out In‑house Calibration tasks based on Maintenance Team Leader instructions, according to the set Calibration Work Instructions.
• Assume 5S duties according to the set 5S plan to enhance working condition.

• Become familiar with health and safety procedures and instructions of work functions.
• Follow NAPCO‑IFP safety standards and comply with Saudi Labor rules and legislation.
• Contribute in different OH&S activities and attend safety meetings as required.
• Attend all training offered by the company.
• Report any incidents, near misses, unsafe conditions or acts to direct supervisor or camp boss when related to accommodation.
• Immediately correct unsafe conditions if safe to do so and where possible.
• Ensure that all safety precautions are in place before starting any work.
• Refuse to perform work when unsafe conditions exist.
• Report all incidents and near misses to their supervisor.
• Use the provided PPE safety equipment.
• Inspect tools, equipment and vehicles before use.
• Be familiar with the emergency response plan and location of first aid, firefighting equipment.

• Basic knowledge in gears, gear box and oils.
• Basic knowledge in the air compressor, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
• Basic knowledge in mechanical tools.
• English knowledge with Excel or Word is an added advantage.
• Work experience in the industry is an added advantage.

• Familiar with basic electrical tools, equipment, and components.
• Basic understanding of electrical wiring and electrical drawings.

Education & Experience:

Diploma in Maintenance Technician.

Good physical condition, ability to work under high stress environment and ability to work alternating shifts.
