Production Manager

On behalf of our esteemed client - a multinational organization and a recognized market leader in the Steel Structure industry
, we are looking to hire a high-caliber Production Manager to lead manufacturing operations within their Structural Steel Division (SSD).

This is a senior leadership role for professionals who thrive in large-scale manufacturing environments and are passionate about operational excellence, safety, and continuous improvement.

The Production Manager will be responsible for driving production efficiency, meeting delivery targets, optimizing costs, and ensuring world-class safety and quality standards across the manufacturing operation.

• Ensure monthly production, delivery, and shipping targets are achieved as per approved budgets.
• Analyze production variances, quality issues, and schedule deviations, initiating corrective actions.
• Lead and coordinate daily operations with section supervisors across all manufacturing areas.

• Optimize utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials to achieve maximum productivity.
• Control operational and capital expenses within approved budgets.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce production costs without compromising quality.
• Provide strategic recommendations to senior management on equipment, facilities, and process improvements.

• Lead and promote a strong HSE culture aligned with company and government regulations.
• Implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize equipment reliability.
• Conduct regular plant, safety, and housekeeping audits.
• Ensure full compliance with customer standards and international best practices.
• Maintain optimal staffing levels in line with business requirements.
• Identify training needs and support workforce capability development.
• Develop KRAs & KPIs for direct reports and coach teams to achieve performance targets.
• Foster teamwork, accountability, and strong cross-functional collaboration.
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering
• 10-15 years of experience in Manufacturing / Production Management
• Strong background in Structural Steel Fabrication or related heavy manufacturing
• High proficiency in MS Office & Oracle-based ERP systems
• Work with a global MNC and industry market leader
• Lead large-scale, high-impact manufacturing operations
