As a Mechanical Assembler, you will be responsible for:

• Assembling components such as compressors, motors, pipes, and base plates according to assembly drawings.
• Operating overhead cranes and moving equipment.
• Working within precise limits or standards of accuracy.
• Assembling/disassembling, adjusting, and installing mechanical parts to meet tolerance and product operating requirements.
• Performing basic mathematical calculations and using general hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment.
• Conducting testing such as hydrotests and pneumatic tests.
• Performing alignment for centrifugal compressors and electrical motors with gearboxes.
• Complying with all applicable quality, health, safety, and environmental directives and regulations.
• Ownership for completion of QC sheets, manufacturing forms, and work completion forms.

To be successful in this role, you will:

• Possess a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Have 3+ years of experience in packaging lines or similar mechanical activities such as assembly, testing, and piping.
• Have knowledge of packaging manufacturing operations (preferred).
• Have experience in alignment for centrifugal compressors and electrical motors with gearboxes (preferred).
• Be familiar with products such as centrifugal compressors, gas turbines, electrical motors, and gearboxes.
• Be able to read and understand packaging drawings.
• Know safety standards and be willing to use protective equipment.
• Be detail-oriented and mechanically proficient.
• Proficient in English.
