IT Shift Technician

We are looking for an IT Shift Technician - Dammam Airport Job Description

IT Shift Technician diagnose, repair, and maintain hardware and software components to ensure the smooth running of computer systems. IT technician responsibilities include installing and configuring computer hardware and being the primary point of contact for IT support within a company.

• End User Support: any issues they must fix related systems contracted by the customer for example:
  • AOS equipment (servers, workstations, FIDS Client...).
  • Airport operation systems (AOS) Hardware & Software support (FIDS, TAMS, RMS, IB, CMS, CATS...).
  • Smart airport systems (TDAS, E-gates, HHT ...).
• Preventive Maintenance:
  • Dammam IT team has Daily/ Weekly/ Monthly PM
  • Daily inspection of E-gates, CATS wks, FIDS Client and HHT at checkpoint.
  • Clean FIDS Display fan filters.
• Providing technical support:
  You would be responsible for providing technical support to users of IT systems within the airport. This would involve responding to queries, troubleshooting issues, and resolving problems in a timely manner.
• Maintaining IT infrastructure:
  You would be responsible for maintaining the IT infrastructure, including servers, and other IT equipment. This would involve performing regular maintenance tasks such as software updates, backups, and security checks.
• Monitoring IT systems:
  You would be required to monitor IT systems and applications to ensure that they are functioning correctly and to identify and resolve any issues or errors.
• Performing installations and upgrades:
  You would be responsible for installing and upgrading IT systems and applications, ensuring that they are done in a timely and efficient manner with minimal disruption to airport operations.
• Documenting IT procedures:
  You would be required to document IT procedures, including installation and maintenance processes, to ensure that they are followed consistently.
• Providing training:
  You may be required to provide training to airport staff on the use of IT systems and applications.
• Ensuring compliance:
  You would be responsible for ensuring that all IT systems and applications are compliant with relevant regulations, such as data protection and cybersecurity laws.
• Escalating issues:
  You would be required to elevate any issues or problems to the IT Operations Duty Leader or other members of the IT team as appropriate.

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• Fresh graduate or up to 2 years of experience in IT support.
• Must be Saudi National

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
