HSE Officer ensures all site activities comply with health, safety, and environmental standards. The role focuses on preventing accidents, promoting safe work practices, and supporting the project team in maintaining a safe construction site.
Job Specification Responsibilities- Conduct daily site inspections to identify hazards and unsafe practices.
- Enforce company HSE policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Deliver toolbox talks, safety trainings, and site inductions for workers.
- Monitor high-risk activities (work at height, lifting, hot work, confined spaces).
- Ensure proper use of PPE and safe operation of tools and equipment.
- Maintain safety records, reports, and documentation.
- Report and investigate incidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions.
- Support the implementation of risk assessments and method statements (RAMS).
- Coordinate emergency response procedures and drills.
