- Operate automated & manual MPD systems to maintain stable bottom hole pressure
- Rig up / rig down MPD equipment including RCDs, manifolds & control skids
- Monitor real time well data; respond to influxes, losses & drilling anomalies
- Ensure compliance with HSE standards & client procedures
- Complete operational reports & maintenance logs
- Coordinate with Driller, Company Man & MPD engineering team
- Lead & supervise MPD operations on site
- Fully competent with all MPD equipment, troubleshooting & control systems
- Manage MPD rig-up / rig-down and ensure procedural discipline
- Monitor pressure trends and make operational adjustments
- Mentor and guide MPD Operators
- Strong knowledge of MPD, well control principles & downhole mechanics
- Well Control Certification preferred
- High school diploma or technical qualification
- Ability to work in demanding rig environments (onshore/offshore)
