- Performs drafting operations for the determination of project plans, collects data for project designs and produces detailed engineering workings, drawings and specifications;
- Prepares as-built record plans or drawings by means of CAD and other technology tool
- Prepares information regarding design, structure specifications, materials, color, equipment, estimated costs, and construction time.
- Coordinates with project engineer/manager about the design of an environment, the objectives, requirements and budget of a project;
- Prepares and presents feasibility reports and design proposals about related projects to the project engineer/manger or to the client;
- Drafts and develops contract/tender documents for contractors and generates correspondence for clients and managers
- Preparing applications for other departments (Insurance, work permits….)
- Performs regular site visits to check on work progress and ensures that the project is running on time and to budget
- Resolves problems and issues that arise during construction by:
- Maintaining a dynamic communication with contractors, clients, engineers and the general public
- Coordinating the work of contractors
- Negotiating with contractors and other professionals
