To provide dedicated on-site electrical engineering support for transmission and substation projects, ensuring proper installation, testing, and supervision of EHV/HV systems. The role supports safe, standards-compliant execution while strengthening coordination between construction and commissioning teams to achieve timely project delivery.
Job Description & Responsibilities- Supervise electrical construction and installation activities for transmission and substation projects.
- Support installation and testing of EHV/HV equipment including transformers, GIS/AIS switch gear, and reactors.
- Monitor underground cable works and overhead transmission line electrical activities.
- Assist in protection, control, SAS, and auxiliary AC/DC system installations.
- Review electrical drawings and technical documentation for site execution.
- Coordinate with project engineers and managers on site-related electrical matters.
- Monitor contractor performance and report technical deviations.
- Support testing and commissioning activities.
- Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with QA/QC and HSE standards.
- Prepare site progress reports and technical updates.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in transmission and/or substation electrical projects.
- Hands‑on exposure to EHV/HV voltage levels and equipment.
- Experience supporting installation and testing of electrical systems.
- Site-based project experience within utility, grid, or transmission EPC environments.
- Understanding of electrical project lifecycle and engineering standards.
- Saudi Council of Engineers registration preferred.
- Willingness to work on remote project sites is an advantage.
