Major Responsibilities & Duties performed:
  • Adhere to ISPC HSE policies, Lock-out/Tag-out, and electrical isolation procedures.
  • Perform troubleshooting and maintenance of Scada, HMI systems, PLCs, drives, motors, and sensors.
  • Support shift operations by preparing breakdown and shift reports.
  • Assist in commissioning automation fault finding, diagnosis, ensure equipment returns to normal operation stage, for rolling mill equipment including loopers, shears, cooling beds, reheat furnaces and all associated Automation Assets, Finite Control Elements, Systems.
  • Participate in preventive maintenance programs.
  • Use SAP PM for work orders, spares, and material reservations.

    Skills:
  • PLC programming (Siemens Step7/TIA, Rockwell/AB).
  • Basic HMI/SCADA (WinCC, Inductive Automation Ignition v8.1/8.33).
  • Troubleshooting of AC/DC motors, soft starters, drives - ABB, Parker, Siemens, Allen Bradley.
  • Basic instrumentation (encoders, sensors, HMDs, loop scanners, process instrumentation etc).
  • Basic networking (Profibus, Modbus, Profinet, Ethernet, Modbus TCP, Modbus ASCI, RS485).
  • UPS and low-voltage switch gear familiarity.
    • IIoT / Industry 4.0

    Skills:
  • Awareness of IIoT concepts.
  • Familiarity with MQTT and OPC UA for device connectivity.
  • Support data collection and historian systems.
  • Participate in OEE, predictive maintenance, and energy optimization projects.

    Competencies:
    • 3-5+ years of experience in Electrical Maintenance preferable in Rolling Mills and preferably in Industrial Automation with Software Skills, Electrical CAD Software, Engineering Design.
    • Siemens, ABB, Allen Bradley, DC Drives, AC Drives, Servo Drives & soft Starters Experience.
    • SIMATIC Step 7, TIA, PLC, HMI, SCADA Experience.
    • Rockwell, Allenbradely PLCs, HMI.
    • BASIC HMI, SCADA, INDUSTRIAL NETWORKING, Basic Database Programming.
    • BASIC Shift Planning, Spares Parts Management, MV + LV MDB, PDB Maintenance.
    • AC/DC Motor maintenance Basic knowledge.
    • Industry 4.0, MQTT, IIOT, Digitization, Cybersecurity Basics.
