Senior Project Manager - Data Centre

Role Overview

An international main contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of a major data centre project in Saudi Arabia. This senior, site-based role has full responsibility for end‑to‑end project delivery, from mobilisation through commissioning and handover. The project is technically complex, MEP‑intensive and delivered to strict end‑user requirements.

• Full responsibility for project delivery including programme, cost, quality, HSE and commercial performance
• Lead and manage site‑based project teams including Construction, Engineering, Commercial and Planning functions
• Manage and coordinate MEP‑heavy scopes
  , interfaces and sequencing critical to data centre delivery
• Oversee subcontractor procurement, performance and compliance
• Drive programme certainty, identifying and mitigating risks to the critical path
• Chair client, consultant and stakeholder coordination meetings
• Ensure compliance with Saudi regulations, approvals and project governance
• Lead commissioning, testing and handover activities in line with mission‑critical standards
• Maintain high standards of HSE, quality assurance and reporting
• Provide accurate and timely reporting to senior leadership

• Proven background with a main contractor delivering data centre or mission‑critical projects
• Demonstrable experience on large‑scale data centre builds (hyperscale or colocation)
• Strong MEP coordination and commissioning experience
• Previous experience working in Saudi Arabia or the wider GCC
• Track record of managing large, multidisciplinary site teams
• Strong commercial and contractual awareness from a contractor perspective
• Experience dealing with demanding end users and strict performance requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline
• Working knowledge of FIDIC contracts preferred

• Delivery‑focused with a strong problem‑solving mindset
• Comfortable operating in high‑pressure, live project environments
• Strong leadership and decision‑making capability
• Willing to be site‑based in Saudi Arabia
