We are looking for a motivated Tendering Engineer to join our Commercial Operations team. This role plays a key part in preparing accurate, competitive, and technically compliant offers while supporting Sales in techno-commercial discussions with customers.
🔑 Role PurposeReview customer RFQs and technical requirements, estimate costs, and prepare complete technical documentation to support high-quality quotations and proposals.
📌 Key Responsibilities- Review customer RFQs, specifications, and drawings
- Prepare cost estimates using approved costing tools
- Develop technical documents including:
- Scope of Supply
- Technical Notes
- Deviation Lists
- Spare Parts Lists
- Revise offers based on customer feedback in coordination with the Tendering Manager
- Prepare contract reviews and support order handover to Project teams
- Explain technical compliance and deviations to Sales and customers when required
- Support techno-commercial discussions with Sales
- Coordinate with suppliers for non-standard components when needed
- Track expected projects, hit rates, and offer lifecycle metrics
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
- 2–3 years of experience in tendering or estimation
- Experience in switch gear manufacturing is preferred
- Proficient in MS Office

AutoCAD knowledge is an advantage
- Strong technical and commercial understanding
- Clear communication and documentation skills
- Attention to detail and analytical mindset
- Customer and stakeholder relationship management
- Knowledge of risk and compliance in tendering
