Job PurposeBAE Systems is the UK Government's nominated Prime Contractor under the Government-to-Government arrangements that are in place to provide equipment, support and training to Saudi Arabia. We provide maintenance of Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) aircraft and train RSAF and Royal Saudi Naval Force personnel safely in a training environment in how to use their aircraft, equipment and weapons.

Job AccountabilitiesPrepare English language lessons with clear aims that meet course objectives as stated in the school curriculum. These objectives must be reviewed at the end of each lesson.
Teach in a proactive manner that engages students in variety of interaction.
Use multi media and appropriate teaching aids and resources effectively.
Ensure classrooms are kept to a high standard of cleanliness and always reflect a professional teaching environment.
Maintain effective classroom management and discipline in accordance with school guidelines and polices. Provide pastoral support to students as necessary.
Carry out all necessary administrative duties accurately and on time especially in regard to student attendance, testing, feedback and student welfare and discipline.
Work effectively with other members of staff in a professional manner.
Keep abreast of developments in English language teaching methodology and actively participate in professional development and training as required by the school and/or BAE Systems.
Recruitment SpecificationEnglish language ability to IELTS 6.5 or equivalent achieved within the last two years for non native speakers.
A Bachelor (or higher) degree in English or related discipline and a postgraduate certificate in TEFL.
E.g. Cambridge CELTA or Trinity Cert TESOL or equivalent.
Recent experience in teaching English as a foreign or second language.
Competence with computer software, particularly Microsoft Office suite.
Ability to use multi media in the delivery of the language curriculum.
Experience in the Middle East.
Current IELTS examiner status in both Writing and Speaking is desirable.
