About the RoleThe Logistics Data Analyst collects, processes, and analyzes data related to logistics operations and performance. They are responsible for using various tools and methods to identify patterns, trends, and insights that can help improve the efficiency, effectiveness, and quality of warehousing operations.
Job Description Data Gathering and Cleaning- Gather and clean data from various sources, such as databases, spreadsheets, reports, or web pages.
- Identify and troubleshoot data issues or discrepancies to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Apply statistical and analytical techniques to data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement in logistics operations.
- Create and maintain Monthly, Weekly, and Daily Dashboards and Visualizations to communicate data findings, KPIs, and recommendations effectively to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with other departments, including Operations, Procurement, and Customer Service, to understand data needs and provide analytical support to improve logistics processes.
- Research and implement best practices and new technology for logistics management to enhance operational efficiency.
- Monitor and evaluate KPIs such as inventory levels, budget adherence, Field Service Tickets, and Customer Orders to track performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- A Bachelors degree in data analyst, supply chain management, data science, business analytics or a related field.
- Proven Experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in the logistics or supply chain domain
- Proficiency in data analysis software and tools such as Excel, SQL, Tableau or Power BI
- Ability to work with large and complex data sets and databases
- Storing analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Excellent Communication and presentation skills
