Zakat & Tax Accountant

Job Overview

The Tax & Zakat Accountant is responsible for ensuring full compliance with tax and Zakat regulations by accurately calculating, preparing, and submitting tax and Zakat returns. The role supports the organization in managing tax risks, meeting statutory requirements, and maintaining strong relationships with tax authorities.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certifications (SOCPA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) are an advantage.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Tax and Zakat accounting.
• Hands‑on experience with VAT, Zakat, and Corporate Income Tax compliance.
• Prior experience dealing with tax authorities, audits, assessments, and queries is preferred.
• Experience in the GCC or Saudi market is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of tax and Zakat regulations and IFRS.
• High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to manage deadlines and work under pressure.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• High level of integrity and confidentiality.
