Job Summary

The Planet Fitness Cleaning and Service Specialist needed will be responsible for the overall cleanliness of all areas of the facility & floor enforcer- dispursing small groups of people and making sure members aren't on the machines to long on their phones to ensure a positive member experience. The opportunity is perfect for those wanting a low stress environment or with very little job experience, and students.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

* Thoroughly clean and sanitize restrooms, locker room areas, fitness equipment and gym floor

* Stock locker rooms with proper supplies/paper products

* Report any broken or missing amenities or equipment (Toilets, faucets, showers, hair dryers, gym equipment etc.) to the Club Manager

* Follow "Lost and Found Policy" and turn in lost member property to the Club Manager/Assistant Club Manager immediately

* Maintain integrity of all Chemical closets

* Maintain an organized gym floor

Qualifications/Requirements

* Deep cleaning experience is preferred but not required

* Punctuality and reliability is a must

* Ability to work evenings and weekends is a must

* Honesty and exceptional work ethic

* Get tasks completed in a timely manner

* Demonstrate diplomacy in all interactions while using appropriate behavior and language

* High School diploma/GED equivalent required

* Must be 18 years of age or older

Physical Demands

* Cleaning gym equipment, floor and glass.

* Occasional climbing, balancing, kneeling and crouching during shift

* Must be able to lift over 80 pounds

* Will encounter cleaning chemicals

Compensation: $19.18 per hour
