Job Description Summary
This position performs technical and mechanical work that ensures the physical aspects of the buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas of the property meet the Company’s standards for cleanliness, appearance, safety, and overall functionality.

• Commission or bonus eligible — average monthly renewal bonus of up to $450.

• Plumbing Installation & Repair - Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, fixtures, and water heaters. Diagnose and fix leaks, clogs, and pressure issues.
• System Maintenance - Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance for residential and commercial systems.
• Compliance & Safety - Follow local plumbing codes and safety standards; read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Customer Service - Communicate effectively with clients, provide estimates, and explain repair solutions clearly.
• Team Collaboration - Work with other trades and assist senior plumbers on complex projects.
• Documentation - Record work performed, materials used, and submit required reports.
• Emergency Response - Handle emergency plumbing calls, including after-hours or weekend shifts as needed.
• Bilingual (Spanish Preferred) - Fluent in English and Spanish to effectively support diverse residents and staff.

• Complies with Greystar’s safety and risk-management policies by attending and participating in the property’s routine safety meetings, completing required training on OSHA and other safety related laws and requirements, and by reporting accidents and incidents promptly and accurately.
• May periodically inspect work performed by contractors, vendors and other service providers to verify the work, materials and services meet quality standards, scope and specifications as required.

• Service Technician - Assists in conducting routine and periodic property inspections to identify safety and risk management concerns, keep the property in good repair, and communicate concerns about the physical needs of the property to management.
• Physical Demands - Stand/walk/sit for extended periods; bend, stoop, climb ladders, reach, carry objects; work inside/outside in all weather; lift up to 25 lbs independently, 50 lbs with assistance; may travel to assist other properties; flexible schedule including call evenings, weekends, holidays.
• Required Licenses or Certifications - EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling; all other state/local certifications as required; valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property where needed.

The hourly range for this position is $22.12 - 28.00 (Daly City).
