Guest Advocate (Cashier), General Merchandise, Fulfillment, Food and Beverage, Style (T1407) – position s role offers a flexible schedule where you can pick up shifts posted by leaders or team members via the myTime app. Must be able to attend a Welcome orientation and follow a short-term training schedule. Shifts and hours vary based on store needs.
- Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest experience by delivering the service standard and greeting guests as you perform daily tasks.
- Engage with guests to understand and solve their needs; assist with products, services, and store offerings to improve the guest experience.
- Assist guests with checklanes, guest services, gift registry, order pick up, drive up, and related services while maintaining safety and quality standards.
- Be knowledgeable about tools, products, services, and the Target App features; help guests enroll in benefits and loyalty programs where applicable.
- Handle returns following store policies; de-escalate situations with leaders’ guidance as needed.
- Support Order Pick Up (OPU), Drive Up (DU) orders, DU returns, and related processes with compliance to policies and procedures.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area; stock supplies during open store hours while remaining available to guests.
- Support cash office operations and cash handling as required; follow all safety policies and training.
- Perform other duties based on business needs.

- Ability to operate handheld scanners and other technology; work independently or as part of a team.
- Occasionally lift or move merchandise up to 44 pounds; frequently lift up to 10 pounds; mobility required for shift duration.
- Flexible shift coverage including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet store needs.
- On-Demand Team Members must respond to contact attempts and complete at least one shift every 5 months to avoid administrative termination.
