Electrical Design Engineer About the Company

Key Responsibilities- Design and develop electrical system layouts, schematics, and specifications
- Prepare and revise electrical drawings using AutoCAD and Revit
- Perform power system studies (short circuit, voltage drop, arc flash)
- Complete load calculations, lighting analysis, and energy efficiency reviews
- Review equipment submittals to ensure compliance with project requirements
- Assist with panel schedules, equipment selection, and system coordination
- Ensure designs meet NEC and energy code requirements
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, contractors, and project teams
- Attend client and project meetings to resolve design questions
- Conduct occasional site visits to review existing conditions and support installations
- Provide engineering support during construction phases
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field
- Minimum 2 years of electrical design experience in the construction industry
- Strong understanding of power distribution and lighting systems
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
- Knowledge of NEC and electrical codes
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and specifications - Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certification
- Interest in pursuing Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Experience with commercial, high-rise residential, or data center projects
- LEED AP certification
