Funeral Service Assistant PT

This part-time position at Cypress Funeral Services seeks individuals with a strong customer service background to interact directly with client families during their time of need. The role involves creating and maintaining a high level of client family satisfaction, setting up and assisting with viewings, funeral services, memorial services, and more.

• Assist funeral directors during services to ensure smooth operations
• Greet and support client families and visitors
• Help move caskets and related items in and out of service areas
• Deliver flowers, urns, photos, and keepsakes
• Set up and dismantle chairs and other equipment
• Drive hearses, limousines, or other vehicles during funeral processions

• Ability to work weekends and evenings
• Warm, outgoing personality and passion for helping others
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure
• Good communication skills and ease in interacting with diverse people
• Understanding of the sensitive nature of the work
• Confidence to speak in front of groups
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs
