Automotive Technician - Daly City, CA at The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company. Walk-in interviews are being conducted. Store Address: 6498 Mission St, Daly City, CA 94014. Walk-in times:
Monday - Saturday 10:00 am - 4:00 pm.

• Troubleshoot problems and demonstrate strong diagnostic skills
• Inspect, repair and diagnose the following systems: brakes, suspension, alignment, engine performance, air conditioning, coolant systems
• Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions to stay informed of rapidly changing automotive technology. Promote teamwork to deliver on-time and accurate guest care during all operating hours
• Maintain expected standards of sales, service, safety, and housekeeping. Use protective equipment when operating machinery and manual working tools
• Perform a variety of manual tasks for extended periods, which may include light and heavy lifting, including consumer tires and wheels, standing, bending, and squatting

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older and have a valid driver s license
• Must have three years of experience in automotive repair, including automotive diagnosis, problem-solving, and repairs
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future
• Preferred Qualifications:
  
  ASE A4 (Steering and Suspension) and A5 (Brakes) certifications and state inspection licenses and/or MAC certification

• Ability to work a flexible schedule to cover business operational needs. Locations may be open 7 days a week, including weekends and holidays
• Ability to use technology and various applications to support correct diagnostics
• Utilize tools, skills, and product knowledge to make recommendations to guests based on manufacturing guidelines

• Pay from $28.00 - $37.00 based on skills
• Ase reimbursement with pay increases (brakes, electrical, AC and heating, engine performance, engine repair)

• Flat rate role with a 75% guarantee (30 hours booked per week)
